Description: 8,500 outdoor family aquatic facility pool that includes a large zero-depth “beach” area and water playscape with a huge dump bucket for kids. A mid-depth area for older children, two-lap swim lanes, large dive platform and drop slide; pavilions available for rental; five-acre dog park with a pond, dog showers, dog water fountains, and separate park for small dogs; Memorial Hill, amphitheater (rentable), group pavilion (rentable), community garden, basketball and tennis courts, and sports practice fields.
Description: is a 65-acre community park, completed in 1998 and open to the public in May of 1999. Veterans Park is conveniently located at 8901 Clifford St, highly visible at the southeast intersection of Loop 820 and Clifford St. It is now home to Splash Dayz Family Water and Adventure Park, a family entertainment aquatic facility open to the public. Veterans Park has an undeveloped natural green belt drainage area through the middle of the property, and plenty of room for future development and expanded pedestrian walkways. Description: The Veterans Park Committee is a nonprofit organization committed to providing a park along Aviation Avenue in Universal City for veterans who have served in all branches of service. This will be the only park of its kind in the area planned to feature an amphitheater, playground, pavilions, memorial military walking trail, and a fishing area on its 8+ acres. Donations help support the endeavor to build this park that veterans, families, and visitors of all ages can enjoy.
Description: Veteran’s Memorial Park is the City’s largest community park at approximately 200 acres. This park is bounded by Minnesota Street on the east, Flores Street on the south, and by Viggo Road on the north. Adjacent to the park on its west side is the City’s Municipal Golf Course.
