How to use VA education benefits for educational purpose
The United States department of veteran affairs provides several benefits to the eligible military veterans. These VA benefits are medical facilities at VA medical centers or outpatient clinics located in the country, several non-healthcare benefits such as disability compensation, vocational rehabilitation, education assistance, home loans, and life insurance. They also provide burial and memorial benefits to eligible veterans and family members at 135 national cemeteries. These benefits were first provided to the veterans who returned from World War II.
This law for proving benefits to the veterans was called the “G.I. Bill”. The first G.I. bill expired in 1956.

You can also apply via. Mail, Call 888-442-4551, from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET, to request that we have sent the application to you. Fill it and mail it to the VA regional claims processing office that is in the same location as your school.
You can also apply in person, You can go to the VA regional office near you and ask a VA employee to help you. Also, you can work with your school certifying official.
You can also apply with the help of a trained professional, or an accredited representative to get help applying you for VA education benefits.
After you apply you can make changes in your application. You have to give the documents on the official G.I. bill website. It usually takes around 30 days for the VA to make the decision.
